Sally’s first two books – The Flower Shop & The Flower Shop Christmas – follow the life of Ted Martin’s Flower Shop in the Wiltshire village of Tisbury

Sally Page has a passion for flower shops and through her books has spent many enjoyable hours photographing and writing about their day-to-day life. Sally believes that flower shops give a unique window into the community they serve and her books tell the stories of how flowers are part of our everyday lives – from birth to bereavement. Her books also let us in on her flower shop secrets; those useful tips and hints that florists know.

Sally lives in Dorset with her husband Billy Kelly, who is responsible for the layout and design of Sally’s books. Billy is also a director of Rwandan charity Msaada, which Sally supports through sales of her book Flower Shop Secrets.

It was over a bottle of wine six years ago that Sally and Billy decided to set up their own publishing business, Fanahan Books. Having been rejected by all the publishers they approached, they took dutch courage and decided to bring their books to the market themselves.

Sally takes to the open road and spends a year searching for gorgeous flower shops and talented florists around England

This useful gift book features the tips that Sally collected in the course of writing her first three flower shop books. All profits are donated to Msaada

Sally turns her attention to the flowers and foliage that can be found in your garden and she invites us to visit 21 gardens around the country. The book was launched at Kew Gardens

When Sally’s daughter Libby said she wanted to write a book all about the colour pink, Sally was able to offer advice and, very importantly, as Libby was only sixteen, to be her taxi driver around the country. 70% of the profits from Love Pink are donated to Breast Cancer Care

Sally’s Messages book is packed with the messages that people send with flowers. From the wonderfully romantic, to the friendly and funny, and at times sad, combined with Sally’s floral photography this book really shows you can say it all with flowers
